Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, and in the same condition that you received it. The eligible period is ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. These are items we classify as “retail products” vs. contract printed items, which would be items custom-designed specifically for an individual customer or organization. Salt Water Colours, will upon request, pay for return shipping for any retail product within the eligible period.
Custom Printed Items vs. Non-Custom Items
Products which are designed specifically for a customer and printed on-demand per an order and/or campaign for an individual or a group are known as Contract Printed Items. The nature of such items is that they normally have no or little value as a return and can be difficult, even likely impossible to resell. We recognize that customers do make mistakes in placing orders, and we will work with customers to remedy these situations to the best of our ability.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged:
* Gift cards, if used wholly or partially
* Downloadable or digital materials
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If the item meets the return or exchange policy conditions, your request will be processed. In the case of a return, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
If an item has changed price since its purchase, any refund will reflect the original purchase price.

Where eligible, Salt Water Colours will pay the return shipping costs with a shipper it designates to return or exchange an item.
If you are shipping an item at your own cost, Salt Water Colours will not reimburse the customer for that cost unless agreed upon beforehand in writing or by email, or other electronic method. If shipping at your own cost, consider using a trackable shipping service such UPS, FedEx, USPS, or similar with tracking availability. We cannot guarantee receipt of an item without tracking information.
